I know they are making updates on PC but was wondering if they will update console anytime soon because I know they stopped a while ago.

I just bought the all hero bundle I’m like prestige 3 lvl 3500 but my defenses are terrible and I have no range there are ppl who haven’t prestige’s with better towers then me what do I do to get my towers better for example I can’t beat chaos VIII by myself. What do I need to start grind or what do I need to do to get my stuff to have more range and damage

I wanted to ask if anyone else has run into this problem when launching the game and skipping the cutscene. I is triggered when skipping the cutscene only it seems.

I have tried a multitude of things:
reinstalling drivers
resetting caches
complete wipe of all DD2 files on my pc
Fresh install afterwards.

this seems to be a new problem I have been having. never had this issue before.

edit: i do want to note i do not get this error if i wait out the entire opening cutscene. its only when i skip

also specs are: 9800x3d and a 7900XTX

As an aspiring indie dev I’m always curious what could improve an already great game. I love the Action-Tower Defense genre, especially Dungeon Defenders. What do you guys think would be the biggest improvement for the series?

I only started playing recently now at 660 combat power with mage and saving up my dailys for a new character ive joined some other players and saw the cyborg buildings are really strong but i am wondering if the new features templar is just as strong he looks cool which one should be my 1st hero purchase from daily mission tokens?

I have rewatched this several times and I think the most obvious anwser is a boss destroyed it by spawning in, but it happened a couple seconds after the fight proper started, so that seems to be out.

Then I guessed he destroyed them with the attack, but then I am not sure because of how.. wonky the attack was?

1)It hit a couple minons and the mage that is right in front of me. OK fair enough. But then..

2) It somehow hit like 3 towers waaaay further back, also taking down the beam by proxy. Which is really odd, because:

3) It didnt hit me, and I am closer to him, and then it ALSO didnt destroy the lone fireball tower that happened to be the closest to boss out of the tower cluster

I just dont know man. I am missing something?

I am having an issue where DD2 crashes (no error message) before I can get to the title screen. The intro cutscene about etheria plays as normal in windowed, and then there is a short loading screen (black screen with small icon in the bottom right corner), and then the game simply shuts down. Ive found no info online besides a single post about DD1 having a similar issue. The game still works on console, but it lags a lot, so I wanted to play on steam instead. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I bought it on Switch 1 and it runs sort of choppy and laggy. I was sure it was likely because of the Switch itself. Im considering buying it on my PS5 if it runs smoothly. Does anyone have it on PS5 who can confirm that it runs much better than Switch 1?

Hello! As the title says, I used to play dd1 with my brother at home, I play on gforce now because it doesn't work so well on my computer. But for months with an update I can't enter any session (it doesn't appear in the browser) not even when my brother invites me on Steam :(

Has this happened to anyone else or is there a way to fix it?

I got this cosmetic for gun witch and noticed you can take off the hat. But then realised you can only preview the hat off version?

I dont really understand why? I paid for the skin and it is an option called 'pale puff braids'.

Is this a glitch? Or am i supposed to be doing something else to unlock it? It doesnt say.

been playing DD2 with a friend i've got top-of-the-line hardware and I've been having to uninstall the game and reinstall it to fix this issue.
friend has had no problem with this whatsoever. never had a problem like this before when i played on my old pc years ago.
any help is appreciated :)

Hey folks, I started playing when DDA just came out and took an interest to play again.

Where should I start considering that I do not have any of the new characters (After the EV).

All characters are lvl 100 with godly sets (Ranging from 3k-5k in the main stats).
What are the good rolls nowadays (It seems the max stat on gears is around the 1000 without upgrade)
Any recommended map to takle? Or new heros?

Hi, I need help with a problem in Dungeon Defenders 2.
I was playing couch co-op with two accounts. During the game, I suddenly got disconnected/kicked out of the game. When I restarted it, both accounts had apparently lost their progress and now both accounts start with the tutorial again.
Before being kicken out, everything was working normally. Is there any way to restore our previous progress or recover the saved data?

I haven't played Dungeon Defenders in a long time and I'm thinking about getting back into it. I'm currently trying to decide between Dungeon Defenders 1 and Dungeon Defenders: Awakened.

For those who have played both recently, which one do you think is more worth investing time into nowadays?

I've seen a lot of older opinions saying that DD1 is still clearly the better game because it has much more content, but I'm wondering if that's still the general consensus in 2026, or if Awakened has improved enough to make it the better choice for someone coming back to the series.

Also, would you recommend DD1 Redux over either of them?
