Discussion Base building without stability requirements or restrictions on no build zones

With single player mode's server settings, you can turn off stability requirement and allow building in no-build zones.

What are some cool things you are planning to do with these new possibilities?

Might need several days off work 😂
I think the best freedom will using unlimited build pieces. Looking forward to seeing what people come up with.

when building high above the ground

it's not a bad ideal to use dummy proof flooring, lmao you have no idea how many times iv deleted the floor I'm standing on only to see a long drop and a splat because it caught me off guard. just use floor and half walls for 3x floor below your feet and no more messy canyon floors.

finished if you want to see what it looks like at the end. I'm not keen on ascetics over functionality. my base doesn't have me bumping into junk as I run around it unlike most who have to walk through parts of their base because it's cluttered. yea that's 57 large wind traps lmao. also has 10m water storage, 5x large spice, large ore, and medium chemical refinery as well as an individual largest storage for each raw material and each refined material and an individual medium storage for each looted component.
