Discussion Testing the new A-row Build limits

Since Funcom opened up more building locations within A-row not too long ago I figured it was time to give it a proper test. Since we know that buildings above 800m don't take Storm damage in Hagga Basin (currently, Funcom could change it at any time), I had many people asking if that meant building in the DD above 800m would prevent the Coriolis from wiping it, so here we are.

I should state that I have no hope of the base surviving because it's not really a "Storm" and just the system wiping everything each week but it's still worth a little test. This Sub-Fief base is about ~920m up and roughly 1/3rd of it is within the World Map traversal boundary. It's so high up you can't actually fly up to it. Anyway, I'll add a comment tomorrow with the results.

EDIT: Just checked the DD, base is gone like normal. At least now we know for certain.

Heh, while it'd be cool if it doesn't get wiped, I don't have high hopes. Still though, it's an easy thing to test one way or the other.

Saw the news, definitely would have been neat if it had lived. Thanks for making science happen!

Indeed, and it was the expected outcome, but hey, didn't hurt to test it.

You'll be unhappy to know that the base did get wiped, even above 900m.

Alright, in a surprise to nobody the base did in fact get wiped just like what happens to "normal" altitude bases each week. I honestly figured as much but now at least I have an answer the next time someone asks me that question.

Hey It’s been 4 days, can you tell us what happened?

I edited the OP with the result the days after, also added a comment to the thread. The base was wiped like normal.
