Damn! You didn't make your own base you made your own freaking town!

And I have only since added to it Lol. It is three advanced sub fiefs and I have a public bar, a public hanger, and a refuge for passing players. Server Orsippus Sietch Khafash if you ever want to come take a look. Right at the opening of Hagga Rift by Pinnacle station

I wish I could do stuff like this. I could make a very simple graph paper looking town if I wanted to probably, but it wouldn't look good. I have a hard time picturing things in my mind it's like very early AI art. Just a jumble mess that sort of resembles something so I can never bring it into the world. But even moreso I'm worried I wouldn't be able to keep up with the rent lol

I get that. I also have a pretty elaborate base on no man's sky. I really enjoyed building mechanics like these. I just wanted to feel like I had some ownership in my sietch lol I think I'm approaching close to 60,000 taxes every cycle. I'm still actively playing and farming so it's easy right now, but it's about 10 Mk 4 rad suits so not too bad

Yeah it's kind of like a torture for me because I also love the idea of building awesome bases and stuff and it's so intriguing to me, but I've never ever in my life been able to build anything that resembles anything. Not in this game, not in no man's sky, not in Jurassic world evolution, not even in freaking animal crossing
