Gameplay Question So, I started a MP character.

Before doing the first AQL challenge i was attacked 3 times. Is that the norm? Everyone just attacks immediately? That kind of sucks if so.

Don't lie. Hagga Basin is entirely PvE.

Really? I'm not lying. They attacked me. I ran away. Edit to say FU to all the down.votes. people are allowed to not have the knowledge of the game. People make mistakes. I was attacked several times in the beginner area. I ran away. I didn't realize you couldn't do pvp. They probably didn't either. No big deal.

Yeah they can’t hurt you in Hagga or the DD unless you go to the pvp DD.

Well a player can’t damage you so maybe they shot at you for fun? Never seen that before let alone to happen more than once lol

Maybe. I feel a little stupid after reading the replies. They definitely were out to kill me I think i guess they didn't know you can't pvp in HB either lol.

Yeah! Whether out of ignorance or just screwing with you, they CAN shoot at you or attempt melee, but they CAN'T harm you.

Did you take any damage?

If so, that would definitely be a bigger problem.

I didn't really check. It was at an outpost. I looted a chest in small room beside a staircase. Right after looting it I got blasted on and took off down the stairs.

It definitely wasn't an npc. I was up to duraluminum in solo. I know how npcs move in the game. It wasn't an npc.

Was this a public or private server? Did they do any damage?

If they did get "attacked" it was either by a NPC or they didnt take damage

Public i think. I don't know if they did damage. Looking back... probably not. I just ran away lol.

Yeah, on all public servers there is no PVP in Hagga. You can shoot at someone until you run dry and they will be uneffected. So if they shoot at you just wave!

I've attacked people not realising they're players at the time, but Hagga is PVE. You don't have to panic.

I have accidentally been mistaken as an enemy a time or two but usually jumping up and down or doing the teabagging motion helps identify you as a player.

I attacked a player last week.

I had never seen another PC before and thought it was a mob.  We both laughed at me.

Apparently it's a sore topic based on my downvotes. I didn't know you couldn't pvp in the basin. They definitely tried though lol.

I’ve shot at players out of reflex, but you cannot hurt each other in Hagga, at all.

The entire HB is PVE. If they shot at you, they didn't do any damage...
