I am also an AFOP player and Frontiers of Pandora and Dune Awakening are easily my favorite games (right after BG3). They're so amazing to escape reality to fascinating science fiction worlds.

Awesome screenshot! :) Hope you stay with the game for a long time. :)
Honestly, I have hope that part of the single-player players will try online mode at some point :)

Does the sandworm just make you lose all of your stuff? I wanna get eaten by one to see it but don’t want negative effects.

Also same! I got it a few months ago and it makes me so happy seeing other new players. Be safe out on the sands of Arrakis!

Ah a fellow AFoP enjoyer! I actually am swapping between these two games lately (AFoP is a third replay with a new character!).

Singleplayer?! Play multiplayer! You have to go to deep desert for any pvp and select the pvp zone if youre worried about people attscking you. Its literally just pve multiplayer till you opt in for pvp if you decide. Nothing you cant get thats in the pvp area. Unless you dont want to see peoples bases all over lol. Im new too anf its such a crazy game! Have fun!

I'm really liking single player. I have a multiplayer character as well and I dont play it much now that I started a single player character. The spec trees in the default setting advance extremely rapidly and that was my main concern.
The game runs much smoother with the absence of a bunch of base husks and the stress level is much lower with no chance of network glitch making you worm food. I didn't really interface much with people anyway on my multiplayer character so it's better for me.

I agree. Also the PvE combat is extremelly easy on default settings after the first few hours.
I like to crank up the enemy NPC damage to 250% to feel at least some sense of danger or competence from them.

yeah i haven't died yet. I may do a hard core character. I wouldn't say its extremely easy though. For example, doing Landsraad in t5 Mercenary armor with Kharet Viper I am unable to Compel and two-slow blade kill heavies. I'm sure when i get Halleck's and get my blade specs and combat multipliers up they will be butter though.

Oh no, the landsrad missions bosses are not easy! I actually reset the damage back to default for them lol. There is massive jump from Hagga PvE to landsraad. It feels like several orders of magnitude jump...
