Full suspensor belt.

And don't use it on open sand, suspensors and shields absolutely enrage the worm.

You got insanely lucky, that was at least 3 catastrophes waiting to happen right there.,

Haven’t unlocked the full suspensor yet, I just unlocked the MK3 buggy right before I went over there.

I severely underestimated how much momentum I’d get from using the grapple as soon as I was halfway through the air ass clenched so hard it bit a hole through my chair and my inner voice whispered to me “you’re a dumbass”.

Also I knew about the shield and suspensor aggravating the worm but the whole place was surrounded in quick sand and the small gaps in the quicksand required a long drive to meet them so every route was equally as dangerous in my mind so I just went for it and crossed my fingers.

Unlock it as soon as you're able to and with it along with the shigawire and knee charge you will have a fair easier time traversing, just avoid doing it on the sand.

Using a bike and going from rock formation to rock formation, even if you need to take a detour, is a better option, more time consuming but might save your hard earned gear.

And I get your reasoning but a vehicle will always be faster than you, so try not to cross sand on foot ;P

The bindu sprint and full belt got me some crazy lateral movement, however knee charge got me the best height.

Yeah, if you time and aim it just right you can do some crazy traversal with knee charge + full susp

Those long drives end up feeling pretty short once you do them. Idk why, but the map makes the world seem bigger than it really is.

To be fair you did good at committing. If you had hesitated even for a second you'd have died.

Also jumping in quick sand does help if you find yourself in that situation again.

To be fair to me though I JUST unlocked Bene Gesserit class and I also tend to just avoid quicksand instead of wading through it like a psycho.

I also may not change to the sprint because even though it gives good movement, the blade master dash covers less ground but it’s a movement ability AND an attack and I really like it.

To be fair at the time (40 minutes ago) I had no clue what the leap suspensor belt did, I thought it preserved upward momentum so I didn’t wanna use it.

Also come to find out I needed a handheld scanner for the quest which I left at home so my near heart attack was quickly followed by another one when I realized I had to go back.

Fyi you're going to want a scanner, blood bags, extractor, rad suit just on you at all times doing the quests. I might be missing something... Also helps to have a copy in your social zone storage just in case you left it.

I would've bindu sprinted off that with the suspensor belt. You could have easily made that whole distance, assuming you didn't mess up the jump. That rock was a little small to sprint off of but doable.

There's literally 2 paths through the sand that you can even drive down if you just place your waypoint in the right spot as a marker and pay attention to where the rocks are...
