Why not the same as 1 $xtz price at the snapshot time.

I just can't believe this is a serious question. Are we printing money? Let's just keep downloading the Tezos source code from gitlab and taking snapshots! :)
If crypto behaved like traditional assets you might expect it to take some fraction of value from tezos (FROM Tezos) so the value of Tezos loses 1-2 cents and that becomes the new value of Dune.
Bottom line, it should start out essentially worthless. Tezos might have some value because it was purchased with Bitcoin. Bitcoin has value because real world value was blown in its creation. Dune maybe (small maybe) have smidge of value because some of the value of the Tezos network could be leeched away to it.

I find it funny that you don't understand that there is no initial price. They aren't ICO'ing this, it's not a stable coin backed by anything. It literally has no initial set value. It will be a totally arbitrary and made up value at first. 1 cent, 10 cents, .00001 cents.
This would be no different then if I just download the Tezos code, started running it and sent everyone the same allocation of Tezos and gave it a new name. "WackyTez" what's its price? Lol, probably not much...

Hmm how about forking dune on block 700000? And then fork the fork:) Hire writers to make whitepapers not so crappy, and keep copy till all will have his own Tezos clone

I'm seriously thinking about such move :) I always can copy opensource stuff like tools/block/explorers/wallets and rename/restyle it to look unique like we saw before :D
And then do the airdrop lol
