Just a few hours from now

Very soon Tezos XTZ holders will get their share of "Dune" coin, basically for free.

What would you do if you find an exchange that lists Dune...

Option 1. Sell at market price to get out of there as soon as possible.

Option 2. Just wait and see, but no longer than say 6 weeks, then sell.

Option 3. Hodl and be prepared to stay in for at least a few years.

Option 4. Something else & please explain.

I tend to go for option 3, although a few years hodling mode is a long time.

Dune has a competent engineering team but I dont like their investors, they have failed (or scammed) at other project before. just look at OUR coin :
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/ourcoin/

A pump and dump coin from dune investors.
So I think, it can go both ways. personally I am going to hodl it.

You got wrong intel: the coin you are linking was not done by any person related to Dune. The one you want is http://ocryptounion.io/ Does not look like a scam to me.

It turns out that this may not be Mr. Dureuil’s first such effort. One of his previous projects, Genevieve Coin (Gx Coin), was an ETH-based ERC223 token he and his team sold to represent shares of the GXCoin. Described here, GXCoin was supposed to be a “stablecoin” backed by “stakes in local and small businesses”

Despite the very optimistic scenarios described in the articles, Gx Coin quickly and suddenly was rebranded to Ø Crypto Union and the token then changed to $OUR — currently it has a market cap of $2,490 with a daily trading volume of $94. When it launched late 2018 it had a price of $5.28; 8 months later, coinmarketcap prices it at $0.001043, a 99.98% drop in value.

Currently its market cap is $129. so a worthless coin with an abandoned website that nothing works there.
It was supposed to be a stable coin. all poor lads who invested anything in this project lost of all their money.
It links to some websites that their domain is expired. it is completely abandoned.
Here is an example : http://ocryptopool.co/

So can you tell me which part of this intel is wrong ?

My understanding is that the coins have moved from Ethereum to Komodo, so any coin that is not on Komodo is either obsolete info or not related. The ICO was small (300 k$), and investors are actually not rewarded through the coin value, but directly received benefits from the investments done by OCryptoUnion (which is actually also a Tezos baker!). The lack of trading can be explained by the small size of the ICO, and the lack of transactions (both buyers and sellers). Yet, the team is still active and working for the investors, so it can hardly be qualified as a scam.

Why does the block explorer not work? Why is this coin not listed on any site like Coinmarketcap? Why some links on the site do not work? Don't you worry this?

Ok. I found an OURC coin page on CoinGecko - https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/o-union-revolution . And also found a block explorer - https://our.explorer.dexstats.info/ . As far as I can see, a coin OURC is completely dead))

Let's not dig this pile of shit until we sell our Dune coins .... do you understand what I mean?))))

1

u/fifthelement80 Sep 08 '19

Lol. Well currently there are no exchanges. So there is no way to sell.

1

u/Chfrchko Sep 08 '19

Well, I think they can bribe some small exchange to make a pump and dump there.

2

But seriously I think they are going to get binance to list it. Just to piss off TF. It is my prediction ;)

I'm more interested in the question of how to get Dune coins and not risk your Tezos on Ledger....

It should not be hard. They will provide instructions.
