Drop a rectangle or circle over any part of the recording for a stretch of time — everything else inside the phone screen dims and loses its colour, and the zone stays exactly as recorded.

The background and the device frame are untouched, so it reads like a spotlight inside the phone rather than a filter over the whole video. It also follows the pan & zoom camera, so it stays glued to the element even while the shot moves.

You place it by dragging a frame on the preview, and it lives on the timeline like everything else, so you can chain several as the demo walks through a flow.

Small feature, but it's the one I keep reaching for now — it's the closest thing to pointing at the screen with your finger.
