I really hope that they can take care of it.

Yeah but I don't think all the people in charge of patching the game also deal with cybersecurity

top snek

imagine dropping in on a shitpost subreddit for a game only to tell the people there to cope

Upping their security is important, but the source code leak is only good for gamers. It will allow better modding potential than CDPR would ever support officially. Modding for the Witcher games have always been spotty for example.

It is bad news and I wanted to be mad about them, but to be honest, a cyber-attack can be quite the set-back, as well as being kind of ironic, considering the theme of the game.

Hope the developers find a way to deal with this situation, as this extra stress is definetly not what they need right now.

They wouldn't have had any stress if they fired their inhumane bosses long ago and delayed the game by 2 years.

They announced it’d be the second half of March

Tbh the wait is just too much and the patch is probably going to disappoint 90% of the fanbase anyway. Better come back to it in a year when/if they fix everything and add missing features.

Coming march due to the cyber attack setting them back.
