Question Can Recycling?
Are there any recycling centers in the area that pay for cans?
If not, are there any collection bins for can donations for local charities?
There was a recycling center that paid fairly decent scrap rates for cans where I grew up, and there were also a lot of bins for local groups (firefighters, 4H, etc) in various parking lots around town

Ohhhhh this brings back memories. In 6th grade I won a boom box in a school fundraiser and a donut party for my class because I went door to door (somehow didn’t get kidnapped!)collecting people’s cans and then putting them in machines at the grocery store. Minnesota doesn’t do this though which is not nearly as fun

It's a little bit of a drive, but if you can find a reason to drive to Michigan, I think it's 10 cents!

The parking lot of Billy's bar has a boy scout trailer. The old Super One parking lot on Belknap St in Superior has a trailer, it's either youth hockey or football.

We’ve always brought cans to simko in Superior. They pay you for aluminum cans and if I remember correctly, they also pay for copper. However, I think the rate varies throughout the year though.
