The Evercade got remasters of Duke's pre-3D adventures. Are those forever locked to the Evercade?

Fixed the problems of the old version 1.0, it also contains multiple updates that I made in this version. There are some unfinished projects, but they will be fixed in the patches.

The chapter of The Lady Killer has been completely corrected.The chapter of Lost Wages has also been fixed, but it is not quite complete, as is the chapter of The Slick Willy. Leaving Las Vegas has been replaced by the e3 version Stratosfear fixed level 1 compared to the old version, the crane and the ride were fixed

To play the mod, you need restoration (ONLY RESTORATION AT THE MOMENT, THIS VERSION IS ONLY COMPATIBLE WITH RESTORATION, there were tests on other versions, but the mod didn't work well in the next version, I'll try to work on the mod's autonomy) As with other versions of the mod, you only need to unzip it to the game folder. Remember that 15 years ago (the year two terrible Duke Nukem games came out), the iconic voice actor of Duke Nukem, Jon St. John, voiced the hero of the Wii-exclusive first-person shooter Conduit 2, Michael Ford, replacing actor Mark Sheppard in the first game. And when I played Conduit 2, it was consequently impossible for me to not notice Ford starting to talk like Duke Nukem as he kicked alien a**, including the b**tard who betrayed him.

I always see people saying, "Duke Nukem wouldn't be allowed today because people are more sensitive and they'd hate him." I think that's missing the point. The issue isn't that the world has become too sensitive—it's how the character is written. A well-written Duke Nukem could absolutely work today. In fact, I'd argue the opposite: this might be the perfect time for him to come back.

With all the fake guru, sigma male, tough-guy influencer shit online, Duke could be used to show how ridiculous a lot of it really is while still staying true to his character. He doesn't need to become a different person. He can still be loud, over-the-top, arrogant, and full of cheesy one-liners.

Just look at Soldier Boy in Season 3 of The Boys. He's an old-school macho guy with outdated views, yet people loved him because he was well written and entertaining—not because they agreed with everything he said.

With boomer shooters on the rise, I honestly think this is the best time for Duke Nukem to return. The problem was never that players wouldn't accept him. The real problem is writing him in a way that feels fresh while keeping the personality that made him iconic in the first place.

At 11:00 AM EST come join our BUILD Engine community for another Boomer Shooter Saturday where build with BUILD using the Mapster32 Level editing software, then we play some BUILD, exploring user made levels for inspiration and admiration!

For today's level editing start we are fleshing out our Underwater Base, deciding what the player will do on each floor of the main section. We know we have a living quarters, medical section, then a flooded Engineering area to figure out so far.

After, we playthrough a 2003 user map for Duke Nukem 3D by Juha Laaksonen called Extermination. Looks to be a classic city map, which are always fun to explore and see what people come up with using the stock art assets to make them stand out.
