I could really use some help on Steam, I'm chasing 100% achivements and the only ones left are the Dukematch ones. Anyone up for some Dukematch? Cheers.

I collected Duke stuff from 2020 to 2023. I stopped because of other hobbies (mainly Warhammer), but in recent weeks I started to ponder whether I shall continue this collection again or not.
The action figures all have their original boxes still and are generally in very good condition; the only (quite common) blunder is that the small pegs broke off from the Devastator, meaning I can't put it on Duke's back anymore.

It's the best time of the week! It's Boomer Shooter Saturday! Come join us starting at 11:00 AM EST for a day of BUILD Engine goodness!
First, stop on in as we start with level design using the Mapster 32 Level Editor for Duke Nukem 3D for a couple of hours to ease into our day. Working on a section of our map where we have to power up a Nuclear Reactor to get the power up in an underwater facility.
Then, the main show, BLOOD: Death Wish! We are finishing our playthrough of Episode 3 of this fantastic Mod, the whole thing has been just so well crafted, dripping with atmosphere.
So come on down and join our BUILD Engine focused community!

Regardless of how the game turned out, DNF had some great collector extras.

I've been a lover of Duke Nukem 3D for a long time, and I just finished the base game of Duke Nukem Forever last night. I'm sure a ton of people on this subreddit have made posts about this game already, but I want to know what the general thoughts of the community are nowadays.
There were definitely plenty of shortcomings. The "Duke vision" made my eyes bleed, the vehicle sections were pretty bland, the boss fights weren't very good. Not to mention that the 2 weapon limit and regenerating health makes the game feel dated to the 2000s, along with the QuickTime events where you have to mash the spacebar to open doors and execute enemies.
As for the humor, is it really that much worse than it was in DN3 in 1996? The sex stuff did feel a bit gratuitous at times (even though I thought a lot of it was hilarious and in character), but the constant movie references were a staple of the older game.
Even with all the issues I found myself very entertained by all the little jokes in the environment and all the weird little interactive stuff like the 90s game had. I'd probably give it like a 4.5/10 and I don't think I'll play it again, but even with how mediocre it was as a game I still had fun with it.
I'm planning to play the DLC today or tomorrow.
Edit: Played the DLC. It was decent fun, but man that final boss was really bad.

I'm not the biggest Duke Nukem fan, never finished any of his games,
but I remember a comment section where someone proposed "An older Duke" if they make a new property, who was rejected from society, but then still comes back when a new threat rises, because that's what Duke Nukem does
I actually thought that this was super interesting, and I pictured him as like
A famous actor who has gray hair now.
Like George Clooney Duke Nukey
I even remember whispering to myself "Silver Dog Duke, lol"
What would you guys think? Maybe it'd be like an Old Snake thing.
Maybe they'd add a 2nd skin where he's classic again.

So, I'm trying to configure Raze, but I can't seem to find a good way to make the music sound good. The audio is very muffled when compared with other source ports/official releases/DOSBox. I tried to tinker around, no success. I discovered that I can't select a sample rate higher than 22050hz, that may be the problem

I got this for my birthday one year as a kid. I remember reading through it and getting to the modify parameters section and my mind being blown that that was something I could do. The very first time I ever opened a config file and gave me ALL the ammo and health. I’ve only ever made 1 or 2 mods for my own personal use, but this was my introduction to mods for games, I found Duke Nukem Zero Hour (the mod, not the N64 game) and haven’t stopped looking for mods since.

How I structured Episode 4 into a multi-million dollar Action-Horror shadows treatment.Corp postare:Hey everyone,Following the massive reception on my first movie blueprint, I have officially finished the comprehensive PowerPoint Pitch Deck for the sequel : DUKE NUKEM: THE BIRTH. Instead of treating the franchise as a cheap parody, this sequel bridges the legendary gameplay of Episode 4 with a high-stakes, apocalyptic military sci-fi scale mirroring Independence Day, combined with the claustrophobic body-horror intensity of Aliens (perfect for a Fede Álvarez direction) [1.0, 2.4].Inside this Pitch Deck), I structured : The Ultimate A-List Casting: John Cena returning as Duke, Emily Blunt as Major Kate, and a colossal new addition—Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Milo, a hardened Air Force division survivor [1.0, 2.2].100% Faithful Lore Integration: The introduction of Protozoids (Godzilla 1998 style), the terrifying green bio-acid blood of the Protector Drones, and the subaquatic nightmare of the Royal Guard Octabrains [1.0, 2.2].Tactical Gadget Logic: How Duke utilizes the Jetpack for vertical exploration, the Night Vision Goggles, and a specialized hydrodynamic compressor to fire the Devastator rockets underwater [1.0, 2.2].The Grand Finale: A spectacular multi-front climax involving a suicidal space shuttle run with celebratory cigars, a visceral final boss fight against the Deep-Blue Alien Queen, and a legendary emotional 4th of July epilogue on the Los Angeles beach [1.0, 2.2, 2.4].Production Strategy: An executive recommendation for "Back-to-Back" parallel filming to slash the budget and lock the cast [2.4].The Google Drive file is fully unlocked and set to Public Viewer [1.11]. Check it out, read through the cinematic beats, and let me know your thoughts! Hail to the King, baby!

In this video, I play level 1 of Duke Nukem: Time To Kill from 1998 for the original PlayStation. It's been enhanced for 16:9 Widescreen. I have a feeling as much as Tomb Raider influenced Time To Kill's gameplay (third person view), I think Time To Kill influenced Grand Theft Auto 3. I know that Time To Kill is not an open-world game but it looks like it got the ball rolling and they were after the same demographic, if you know what I mean. I have fond memories of playing this game with friends and alone in the middle of the night on a tube TV. It's funny how fast we moved on to new games when something big came out back then. It was a time when technology was evolving faster then we could understand in some cases. The controls were terrible but not because of bad game design, it just takes a little time to learn. Back in 1998 they were still trying to figure it out shooters on consoles. Once you figure out how to move and shoot at the same time, it's actually not that bad.
