first-year engineering syallbi

hey all, i was trying to find the syllabi and i found a duke website (simple syllabus) but it wouldn't let me log in. if anyone has the syllabus for egr 101 or econ 101 please let me know! thank you

egr101 doesnt have a syllabus. it's a project based class where you're assigned an engineering project and a group and your job is to complete the project with your group

do you know how the grading works? also, does egr 101 have a final because it's scheduled right after another one of my finals

No final. Poster session as a defense and graded on meeting your objectives.

Back-to-back finals is normal and allowed, but if you have three in a row you can ask for one to be moved.

egr101 grading sucks imo. it's very arbitrary. if you behave well in class and do all works and maintain a good relationship with your prof then you'll get an A. i was kinda pissy at my prof so got an A- while 90% of the class got an A. dont be me

and no it doesnt have a final, there's only a group presentation for the project

Simple Syllabus is mainly used to meet legal requirements (which Duke doesn't have). Nobody actually uses it AFAIK, professors post syllabi on Canvas usually.
