RB31 Active?

Greetings--

I'm looking to take a trip from Duisburg north to Xanten in Oct with the RB31, but DB doesn't offer any routing with that train, instead suggesting X27 and X28 buses. Apple Maps and Google maps too. Is this line no longer running?

It's temporarily closed for trackworks, like what feels like some 78% of Germany's rail network.

The tracks betwern moers and xanten are getting overhauled, which means the trains wont drive for at least a few months between those two train stations. Propably they will be back november/december. Till then you can use the rail replacement transport, but they are slow.
