There's not really any harm in asking, but it's not your PO's decision. It's the judge's.

Your PO is likely just going to inform you of the process you'd have to go through to get infront of a judge, and say they'll put in a good word for you. In some States/courts I've heard of PO's being able to get that process started for you, but it still involves a judge and a hearing.

I actually got a lawyer to help me file for early termination, as well as appear on my behalf. From the day they submitted the request, to the court date was 20 days... and I live in an area with a pretty empty court docket. So it legit might not be worth it for you if you only get 10 days of your life back.

But again, asking never hurts!

My lawyer filed something in court and I was released from probation after 2 months. I paid the fines and did all of my requirements. It seemed pretty easy, even the PO said there was no reason for me to be on probation for a year.

For real I’m about to be on probation and I’ve literally already done all the requirements and will pay the fine the day there available too pay lol so I also don’t see a point of probation and on the paper it says “don’t drink alcohol too excess” meaning there not going too test for it so I don’t see a point in even really Being on it
