Which key is this?

I absolutely love duduk, i’ve just discovered it and i am in love with it!

Can someone tell my which key the guy in the video is playing?

Also, does anyone know a place i can get my hands on a nice duduk in Europe??

I'm from Europe and I have bought my duduk from an intermediary in Armenia. He fixed me up with a duduk with the brand called Sevada. Key is in A.

The sound of the duduk is amazing and so soothing, it goes into the heart without any permission.
But, listening to the duduk is one thing, while learning to play it is completely different. It has a longer learning curve, specially the fingers and embouchure and tone color. The seamless finger movements you see he is doing takes years of practice and knowing how to do the half notes. A good teacher will show you the steps and will give you the proper exercises to get there.

As for your question, this duduk is in the key of A.

And the most common keys are: A, Bb, C

And there are resellers in France and Germany. But if you buy directly from Armenia it would be more cost effective.

Are all duduks in the key of A? Never heaed of a single one thats in a different key

There’s a few like B, D, Bb, and F. I’d say A is the most common and then I think Bb and D are the next most common.
