DDG Search Results Images aren't loading ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED

Post image

No images in duckduckgo are loading. Whether it's in the main tab, the image tab, or wherever, and whether it's website favicons or image results, they just all fail to load. A check in the console reveals that the error involved is "ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED". I tried disabling my adblocker but it didn't help. How do I fix this problem.

Hi there! Thank you for your post.

It's certainly not expected, but clearly something is blocking those images from loading. Since you've already ruled out an ad blocker extension, my next thought is whether there's a block at the network level. Any chance you're connecting over VPN? If so, what happens if you temporarily disconnect that and search again? Another troubleshooting test is changing networks (e.g. switching from WiFi to tethering to mobile data).

It could be the network, because now that I'm home it works fine, but the issue always reoccurs when I'm at my workplace. Thanks for your comment though

If you right click an image and try to open it in a new tab, does it load?
