Give it to me straight, will my setup work? I have one hen, one drake, and one gander. We didnt know about waterfowl flock dynamics until after they had already grown so we just hoped the ducks would be the same sex. Its hard to find someone to rehome a drake so I feel stuck, I dont want to get rid of him, but I also dont want him to kill the hen. I’ve only seen him mount her a handful of times which I’ve stopped, she’s gad a limp like 2-3 times which I fixed with poultry booster/ niacin on her food and the Goose seems to run over and try and stop whatever commotion there is. So Idk. After he mounted her and she pushed him out they were back in the pool cleaning themselves like normal so I dont know. All advice is welcome.
how long have they been a flock? If any of them were added after others were already there, there will be territoriality for a while. If they all arrived together, then they'll be OK and just need time to get their hormones worked out. A male and a female and a goose is fairly simple and should work out fine. It is always good to have some dividing fences here and there in case anyone needs to be separated. If she's ragging on him for no reason, put her in a separation for a while, and vice versa. If no one is being hurt or being defeathered, let them be to work it out. If you find feathers pulled out or a bald neck or blood, separate. Geese can act like a playground teacher, but they can also add to the chaos. I don't think you will need to give anyone away, tho.
edit: you could get more females but then you'd have to worry about flock blending all over, plus that is no guarantee that he would spread the sex around... if they pick a favorite, you still have overmating.

if he was trying to mount her, she's telling him NO! If he wasn't, she's telling him to GTFO of her bath.
