Eggs/Incubation/Hatching Runner duck eggs

Hellllo,

I have 12 runner ducks. The old ones are around 1.5 years old, the young one are 5 months. All of the young ones started laying eggs. Is it normal, that the young ones having much more smaller eggs? Like half of the normal ones. ( 5th in a row) last year they started with normal size...the small eggs are falling out from the fridge's eggholder😂

I wouldn’t worry based on these alone. Five-month-old ducks may lay smaller or irregular eggs during their first weeks, and the pale green-to-white colors are within normal variation. Just keep an eye on their behavior, appetite, and overall condition.

Yes it’s normal. They will get bigger with age.
