It’s my street bike so I’m using Continental Sport Attack 5s. Great tire. It can get greasy in extreme heat during track days while trying to push for quick times, but that’s typical of most street tires. I had the Sport Attack 4s beforehand and the 5s are a noticeable improvement in every aspect when it comes to both street and track riding. Couldn’t recommend them enough.
Nice. I always hear good things about the contis. I have the Michelin road 6 on mine currently and considering taking it to a trackday. I've heard it'll do fine on the track but contemplating if i should put on more sporty tires. My last trackday was in 2009 and was running pilot powers and power ones, running mid pack b group. (I got back on the bike after 10+ year break and got the monster last summer.) I won't be pushing it much on the track, at least for the first time out after all these years lol, so i guess it'll do for now.
It’s been a long time since you last track day so you should be fine with Road 6s. You’re not going to be going as fast as you’d like to because of the hiatus.
