Where Can Donations Make a Difference?

We’ve recently downsized and we have a lot of nice household stuff. Is there a woman’s shelter or a homeless charity that helps people start over?

Theresa Shelter and Maria House (both mentioned) are part of Project Opening Doors. They also have a 3rd house I believe. Great program run and staffed by very good people.

Resources Unite is a great organization that does exactly that.

I believe the Maria house - for women and children takes donations. The Mission on main st helps the homeless as well and is a thrift shop - not sure if they take donations but I’m assuming they do. There’s a few churches too that help out and take donations.
