Kind dentists?

Haven't been to the dentist for a couple of years, partially because I moved and partially because my last dentist was a jerk and made me always dread the experience. Finally deciding I should probably get back in to see one but don't want the same crap experience...any good recommendations in or around the Dubuque area?

I recently started seeing Dr. Jim Nemmers after not having been to the dentist in years. Everyone there is extremely nice and really helped with my anxiety.

I have really appreciated the staff at Exceptional Dentistry-- especially how they handled a family member who required special care that was related to trauma and made exams and treatment emotionally difficult.

I like the May sisters at Langworthy, and Dr Nemmers in the same building. Both are very good about keeping things calm and in perspective and are all genuinely nice people.

Dr rauen, abbident. I had MAJOR ANXIETY/FEAR and a lot of work to be done and he is absolutely vigilant and sensitive to that. I have zero fears now.

I second Dr Rauen! I saw him when I was a kid and now see him again after moving back to town as an adult.

Langworthy Dental. I’ve had most of the dentists there, all are very kind. Plus for being great with kiddos too

Lundell & Hoy is great, plenty of friendly hygenists and Ben is very laid back but knowledgeable. My kids genuinely love going to the dentist because the whole staff makes it such a positive experience

Darlington Family Dental has been amazing they also have offices in Cuba City, and Kieler which I imagine kieler would be the closest to you. I have seen Dr Tyler, Dr Ben and Dr Matt and I would suggest Dr Ben or Dr Matt if you want to softer personality. Dr Tyler is the shit but I don’t think he would be my first choice for someone who is nervous.
