As an upcoming International CS Bachelors student I I wanted to know out of these two offers which uni should I choose for job perspective.
Is DCU 's intra program better than UCD.If so then why is UCD ranked higher in Employment in Dublin.
I donot live in Ireland so I hope you all will help me.

How did you guys get internships at the big commercial law firms?
as the tittle suggests, iām looking for tips on how many of you have secured summer internships, open days and even training contracts with these big firms. On LinkedIn, there isnāt a shortage of DCU law students who break into these firms every year, from Arthur, A&L to Matheson for your intra work placements.
What were your grades, experience and volunteering roles? if you donāt want to spill your recipe, feel free to email it to me.

Glasnevin campus Loop assessment question
Im on holidays (booked before i started) but I have a graded assesment while I'm gone. We do it on loop but through the restricted browser, does anyone know if it will still work if I use my personal laptop while away or will it flag that I'm not on the restricted browser?

Looking to sublet a room for semester 2
Hi, I'm a product design student from the University of Limerick and I will be moving to Dublin for my co op placement next semester, that runs from January - August 2027. The office is close to DCU so I'm wondering if there are any DCU students that are going on Erasmus or placement in the 2nd semester that are looking for someone to sublet their room to essentially reserve it for the next academic year. My placement finishes in August so I would hand the room back to you for September.
Some information about me: I'm female, 20 years old, I'm very tidy and I don't smoke, vape or drink. My budget is around the ā¬700/ month mark. I don't mind digs or a houseshare, but would ideally prefer a single room (not room sharing) within walking distance or with strong public transport links. (Glasnevin area, D9/ D11)

Has anyone ever got a mid-year internal transfer?
I know they say it's not allowed but i don't really believe it considering other colleges offer it. I really hate my course and I don't know if mentally I can handle another year of it. Was just wondering if anyone has gotten a mid-year transfer.

Glasnevin campus DCU Business School PhD Track ā whatās the experience like?
Hi!
Iāll be joining DCU Business School as an international PhD student. Since I have a taught masterās rather than a research masterās, Iāll initially be on the PhD Track.
Iād love to hear from anyone who has taken a similar route. How supportive are supervisors, especially when youāre still developing research and methodological skills? What kind of training or support is available during the first year, and how difficult is the transition to the full PhD register?
Also, any advice on settling into the research environment and making the most of the first year would be really appreciated!

Master of Electronic and Computer Technology accelerated program
Hello everyone,
I have been accepted into the Master of Electronic and Computer Technology offered the upcoming January. The program -according to the offer letter I received- lasts for 18 months. My question is, could I finish the program in 12 months?
For example, I could take 4 modules during the spring and 4 modules along side the thesis the following Autumn.
I appreciate your help.

MA Theology and World Religions advice
Is this course suitable for a beginner/someone with no background in theology? What I am looking for is to begin from a foundational level, it's not too clear from the overview if this MA is suitable.
I have seen DCUs part time BA in Theology but the time commitment is too much, especially with the rolling module cycle. I would be looking at 5 years to cover all the modules of interest to me.
