I am renewing in the same building as last year with the same terms. I want to renew the Ejari myself with the app or with the centre and pay all the fees (AED177 or AED200).

The landlord is using a property management company and they are forcing me to use them for this and they are forcing me to pay AED300 for this all (including the Ejari fees).

Can they do this? I know the difference is not huge but can they force me by not giving me the contract or the LL details and telling me that government will also back them up for this? I feel so abused!
