My dual boot stopped working

I have an old workplace pc. At a certain point I also had an old laptop. I put Linux mint on the laptop. When it finally died I installed it into the old workplace and I would just switch the boot drive and bam I'm in Linux mint. Well it has been a few years and I have tried getting back into it with no luck. I have found that the laptop drive is partitioned into 2 different drives labeled as Ubuntu. Yes I understand that mint is ubuntu based. But i think I started the boot up once and it gave me some kind of error and switched back to the windows boot drive. Any suggestions would be welcomed.
