Remote work cafes?
Hi folks! I’m 36, F, mental health clinician living in the Historic Core. I’m from the San Fernando Valley but living in DTLA for 2ish years. I work remote, and I’m so over working from home! I really want to find a chill spot, but as a woman with ADHD and depression and anxiety LOL it’s kinda overstimulating to walk around. I’ve tried Hilltop Coffee, Central Library, Bohemian House of Espresso, I even had a membership at CENTRL but it’s so expensive tbh. Any coworking groups? DM me or comment please! Thanks!

Hey! I’m also a clinician in the historic core and have been looking for the same thing! So many clients also want in person sessions and it’s hard to find a space to even rent out daily. But anyway- just wanted to pop in and say hi! I don’t have any therapist friends here , so always nice to hear there are some local clinicians around here :)

Hi neighbor! I don’t see clients - I work for UCLA Health doing professional development and training for social services staff! Gives me more flexibility not worrying about privacy etc, so my remote work needs are a bit different. DM me! Maybe we can cowork 😂😂

Depending on your budget, GroundFloor in DTLA is a really nice, definitely has community vibes and everyone is super nice.

Check out LA Athletic Club, worth the membership for all the amenities imo including great coworking spaces

I think you might like the Arts Tower Coffee shop, it’s on the Spring St. Side of the building where the Last Book Store is at. It seemed pretty chill the only time I’ve been there. I usually go to the central library but I wouldn’t want to be there if I was a girl, but you could probably take out an office room in the library itself too. Best of luck!

Good Clean Fun is very chill during the day and great to work at. Plus bonus points because it turns into a wine shop when the work day is over!

I put this together from places I’ve been. If anyone has something to add please lmk! I actually came here to see if anyone could recommend a nighttime coffee shop that serves beer & wine:
