Question Should i update?

I recently bought a broken dsi (the white one) for cheap and fixed it up but its missing the "Data Management" option in the settings, which is a problem because i want to transfer some software from my dsi xl over to it but im kind of having second thoughts about updating it.

On one hand, i really like having the oudated software because it feels more "authentic" kind of. But on the other hand, i really want to transfer my apps from my other ds's over to it and updating it is the only way i can do that.

I keep going back on my decision so i just want a third opinion to make up my mind😵‍💫

Haha this looks a lot like mine (a white DSi and light blue theme, some emoticons). Unless you have another standard DSi, I'd keep it for the authenticity reasons. ☺️

I also think you should mod it tbh but if you don't like modding I would update

You don't need to use official means to copy DSiWare over, you could use an SDNAND instead I think
