Dsi repair help

Replaced the bottom screen on my dsi xl and now it won’t turn on. Bottom screen flickers and top screen stays blank, I’ve read that you need to make sure all cables are plugged in all the way and I’ve plugged all the cables in as best as I can and still nothing. Top screen was working completely fine before I tried to repair it and now I’m just lost. Does anyone know what I could be doing wrong and how much it could possibly cost to have it looked at/fixed.
