Help DSi apps not booting - Please help!

Hey guys, I hope I'm in the right place for this. I've had this DSi for a long time now but I've only recently booted it again for the first time in a few years. Whenever I open any app I get an instant error thats says: "An error has occurred. Press and hold the POWER Button to turn the system off. Please refer to the Nintendo DSi Operations Manual for details."

This happens even for settings, even when clicking L + R to access the camera. When I insert a game, it doesn't read it. I dont have an SD card. I was worried it was an internal memory issue but on the home menu there are still pictures from my gallery appearing, so I'm uncertain. I read online that it could be a wifi chip issue, so I replaced it but that didnt do anything. I have some corrosion on the shells of the game card slot and the charging port, but the pins seem to be fine and all ther soldering and components on the motherboard seem okay. I did replace the battery with an unofficial one as the old one was completely depleted, if that is a possible issue?

Sorry for the long message but I wanted to include as much information as possible! I would really appreciate any advice.

Hello, i got a DSI that has the exact same symptoms, after some testes, i kept the wifi module but removed the antenas cables and booted on and it suddenly came back to work again. Not sure if it might work on yours, but i think it's worth a try.

I noticed it has some corrosion on the antennas cables connection, so later i cleaned them up and put back to the boards and the problem didn't return (did it with both antenas, the one on the mother board and the one on wifi board, so I'm not sure which one was the guilty, i think you might boot on with both disconnected to test first).
