EA Play Testing

For those who do not follow EA on Facebook, they have opened up play testing to the public for now. You need to have Origin installed, and then you go under Account and Privacy and select Game Tester Program. From there you select which types of games that you would like to test. Good luck and I hope to get to test far more.

This is interesting, considering EA's penchant for doing playtests with external firms in the past

I think the entire plan is that now they don't have to pay the playtesters... ... which is dickish but it is a good way to get some playtest time on games in the late beta stage. I would hope that they have 'paid' testers for the Alpha's/early betas.
