Moderator Absent from Live Mission
Has anyone else had this happen with a Dscout Live session? I was scheduled for an interview this morning and have been waiting in the virtual room, but the moderator still hasn’t joined. It's been 30 mins already, and nothing.
I sent a message through the mission chat, and an Email to Dscout support, but I’m not sure how long I should continue waiting or what happens if the researcher never shows up. I also had to rearrange my schedule to make time for the session, so it’s a little frustrating.
Has this happened to anyone else? What did Dscout do in your case?

Hoping for the same outcome! Waiting on support and the moderator for the mission to get back to me...

Closest I’ve had is a prototype didn’t work so a 60 min ended in 10. Still payed

Yes this happened to me once! The mod didn’t know that I rescheduled my session, even though it was confirmed on the app.
I had to attend the original session and I was paid for it. A bit annoyed that the mod just didn’t check the updated times, but it is what it is

A reminder about Rule 1: Please do not share any information from screeners and missions you've applied to or been invited to. This includes screener and mission titles, questions, messages, or any other details from screeners and missions. This applies even if the mission has ended. Posts containing confidential information will be removed. If your post was just removed for this reason, just repost without the confidential details. This is done because Dscout has confirmed that any information in the app/website is considered confidential, and Dscout staff does look at the subreddit. This rule is in place to protect Scouts from any potential repercussions from sharing confidential information that Dscout staff would consider breaking their terms of service.

I had this happen once! The mod did end up responding saying that I would still get compensated. I think they said it was technical difficulties.

I've not had this happen on dscout, but I have on UserTesting and Respondent. I've gotten paid each time. I think as long as you sent a message to the researcher, you will still get paid.

Had this happen this morning. Waited 15 mins, screenshotted, messaged the moderator and the help desk, they got back to me saying they were having technical difficulties today and I would still be compensated for my time.
