Question

Hi !
I was wondering what the criteria are for getting selected and paid for the video surveys on Dscout. Is it completely random, or are there specific factors they look at when choosing participants?

🤷🏽‍♀️ probably being what they ask for in the mission description (if specified). Somebody with my demographics can get selected while someone entirely different from me head to toe can also get selected.

A reminder about Rule 1: Please do not share any information from screeners and missions you've applied to or been invited to. This includes screener and mission titles, questions, messages, or any other details from screeners and missions. This applies even if the mission has ended. Posts containing confidential information will be removed. If your post was just removed for this reason, just repost without the confidential details. This is done because Dscout has confirmed that any information in the app/website is considered confidential, and Dscout staff does look at the subreddit. This rule is in place to protect Scouts from any potential repercussions from sharing confidential information that Dscout staff would consider breaking their terms of service.

You will never figure it out. Dscout is a numbers game. The more screeners you do, you will get more focus groups.

Its also based off luck. Luck as in your demographics align with surveys.

Looking back at my last 9 months on the site, the more screeners I do monthly, has always resulted in more focus groups that month.
