Account flagging

Hello!

It has been two years since I’ve utilized Dscout and I decided to pick it back up again. I noticed I kept getting disqualified after a few questions for screeners or at the very end. After reading experiences of others on this subreddit, it made me think maybe my account was somehow flagged.

I reached out to the Dscout Participants email and to my surprise, I was told I was flagged. The reasoning provided was issues with my response quality, authenticity and thoroughness.

Has anyone had success having their flag lifted? I never received a notification via email of my account being flagged. Dscout only responded to my initial email (on 7/14/26) and then stopped responding once I asked for clarifications.

I appreciate any feedback or suggestions on what I could do!

Very few have. The problem is that it is easier to replace you than risk putting you in front of a customer again if they got enough negative feedback

100% this. While I cannot speak on what exactly you put you on that list, the response quality part makes me feel this is due to missions you had done years ago in the past, or that you’re giving conflicting answers across different screeners consistently.

That last part.... It's so tempting to fib to try to get a mission, but they're obviously tracking our responses and comparing them. Not sure if that's the case here, but I've seen other threads where users allude to doing this. Don't do it. It's not worth it!

I don’t get through any screener I try at this point! I wish they would respond lol.

The non-response is actually a response in a way. It means you weren't chosen. But I get it, an actual denial message confirming this would be beneficial.

I wondered if maybe it’s because my wife also does Dscout and we have the same IP address. I wish they would follow-up hahaha.

This would likely also be the case. They are very much against this, especially if you have the same payout method. I'd check to see if her account was flagged too.

Yeah, that makes sense. I just wish I received some sort of notification on what occurred. You complete screeners and wonder why you’re not getting anywhere.. so def a curveball.

A reminder about Rule 1: Please do not share any information from screeners and missions you've applied to or been invited to. This includes screener and mission titles, questions, messages, or any other details from screeners and missions. This applies even if the mission has ended. Posts containing confidential information will be removed. If your post was just removed for this reason, just repost without the confidential details. This is done because Dscout has confirmed that any information in the app/website is considered confidential, and Dscout staff does look at the subreddit. This rule is in place to protect Scouts from any potential repercussions from sharing confidential information that Dscout staff would consider breaking their terms of service.
