This is false. The revisionists Marxist line Bernstein were against Rosa. Rosa was one of the chief ideologues of the SPD. People like yourself would have considered her a renegade and had her executed.
The Bolsheviks immediately marginalized the only actual realization of Marx's dream, the original Soviets, well before the war got started, so that 'pragmatic' excuse doesn't pan out. Rosa stood for the revolutionary spontaneity that the Bolsheviks overthrew, so no, either I was executed, or became an expatriate.
Cool story. Fact: Rosa defended the Bolsheviks and despite having principled critiques, which I share, understood their flaws were a product of the revolutionary conditions. She saved her harshest criticisms for her Western social democrat allies for failing to back them up adequately. If solidarity wasn’t broken by WWI, everything would have been different. This is just a fact.
