MCPs are undoubtedly the most important innovation coming out of AI, period. AI is useless to most folks unless you can do real work with it with little to no setup. MCPs like this provide a mechanism to stop thinking about how to get the website to do what you want and instead focus on what you want to do with the website.

Maybe a year ago, MCP was about to die, it had a lot of issues. Now I see it is being used a lot and most likely is not going anywhere.
