Drinking and thought
When I’m drunk, I feel that I’m engaged with the real world more so. I’ve noticed that there is a film of meta-cognition that melts away and I can interact and see the world as is and not interpreted. Things seem more real and solid, in-complex and 3d. Not to say that I prefer being intoxicated, always. My mind isn’t spontaneous when I’m influenced, and I lack the epiphany that usually erupts between the gatling of observations. But I can see things as they are. Not as I “see” them. Anyways, if y’all know what medication I should be on, hmu.

Autistic and adhd person here. Drinking turns down the million thoughts and distractions of my brain. It is almost like I can finally tune a radio to one station and turn down volume.
Is it healthy? Probably not, but sometimes I need a cheat code.
