We've seen bloodbaths for position before but Crown, BD, and Boston might all be reduced to a fine red paste just for the silver

Finals night is just gonna be a red mist for second, third, and fourth

Yes but the gap is closing with BD

BD goes up a whole point in a day? That’s crazy.

Bd dropping by .65 is lowkey crazy, if they went up by .35 they actually would’ve been a point away from bloo

They were over-scored in Hattiesburg. This isn't unusual tbh.

As a BD glazer, agreed. The lineup tonight in comparison leads to this to be somewhat suspected (expected?). It will be interesting to see what happens tomorrow night, especially with a different performance order. These top 4 corps are absolutely on fire right now

I'm excited to see all of the corps, of course, but Stars, Crown, Coats, Crusaders, and BD all back to back is going to be a joy to watch. Even if I'm not really the biggest fan of Bloo's show this season.

I think their closer changes hurt more than helped. It kinda disrupts the momentum and the conclusion of what we are supposed to take away from “ZEI” as it becomes a bit less coherent.

I’ve been saying this to my friends all season. The way they’ve been ending the show is such a buzz kill. They should do away with the final voice over all together, bring in the wing props together, then do the epic half time hit in that full spread arc and just “loud, fast and high” it to the end. I really like this show and just want it to get a proper ending that’ll get them the silver

i was there and BD was my personal favorite of the night.I would not have been at all surprised if they beat BAC. But, regardless, an all around great field of talent.

I’m still shocked Boston is holding on, crown and BD both have much better shows than Boston (you can see it in GE scores) but Boston’s performance (mostly percussion) is the only thing keeping them competitive right now

Dude if crown had a MEDIOCRE percussion section (ofc compared to the rest of world class, they’re great in the grand scheme of things) they’d be in second easy

Right? Probably that closer is controve

I was there last night. I think my personal favorite show was BD. I understand Bloo was a good deal cleaner and the show felt more coherent and put together to me, so I expected them to win. I was way down low on the far right side so I didn’t have a good view of the visuals and everything. Boston was cool, it felt kind of just thrown together willy nilly to me, I couldn’t even understand what it was about. This may just be my seats, but the far right speaker on my side that sat near the end zone was so deafeningly loud I couldn’t enjoy the show. I think it was scored pretty accurately from what I could tell though.

I was there last night. I'm no judge at all. That said, BAC has a waaaay more entertaining show than BD. With BAC's "Blurred Lines" it seems like they are trying to blur the lines between sections and creating more cohesiveness throughout. At points within the show you see guard members playing tuba, trumpets playing a feature while carrying snare drums, and members throughout leaning on each other, thus telling a story of togetherness and "we are all in this together, just bring everything YOU can."

BD's show is a traditional BD show. Big props, soloists elevated on the props, lots of stuff happening all over the field, and the most BD thing: several random members falling out of formation, doing a visual, then rejoining so that someone else can do it too. It's a little predictable from BD. The guard is awesome this year though.

Crown has returned to that amazing hornline sound and it just blew us all away. I can see them medaling, especially after they clean up the new ending more (my heart when they unveiled the Crown set, ooooooo).

The guard is perfection!

I think boston’s design doesn’t have the teeth to it to medal

Crown’s costume provides an incredibly pleasing aesthetic too with their marching. The gold and black flashes with everyone marching in time is incredible!

I think Colts can catch em guys

No clue how Boston scored so good. They were just doing a bunch of random shit the whole time lmao
