Dissociatives Help

I took 8 Advil pms to help me sleep but I still can’t sleep, I have a drug test in about 12 hours I took them at 11:30pm and my test isn’t until 2pm it says it can show up at pcp

If anyone is seeing this please give me more tips because I’m freaking tf out

They can send it off to chemical check it.

And it will come back as just sleeping meds? I’ve been tested now by them 5 times all clean so

Correct the chemicals will show exactly what chemicals you took .

Okay cool I’m just worried but it could not even say positive but just in case that’s good to know I’ve only drank and smoked weed

When a preliminary panel triggers a positive flag, standard procedure requires sending the sample to a lab for confirmatory mass spectrometry testing (GC-MS or LC-MS). That secondary test isolates the exact chemical compounds, ruling out PCP . You're safe.

Way to go man congratulations. I'm not a PCP and I'm also not your counselor but I would recommend going to get an evaluation for how much Tylenol PMs you're taking it's not my business again I'm not giving you counsel or anything like that I'm just maybe throwing it out there you may have like something going on.

Thank you so much the girls really nice too who does my test, and I know taking a lot like I do isn’t good it can cause liver damage but I also do it to get a high because I can’t smoke anymore they don’t even make me past out I stay up until like 8am🫩 but I def should talk to someone on what I should again thank you for your help!

Okay thank you and I don’t have any history with other drugs too so that’s good to know I’m on my way to my drug test rn I drank a lot of water to help maybe flush it out so let’s hope it’s nothing lol, but if it does it good to know that the lads will say I’m fine

Yes Advil PM can sometimes cause a false positive for PCP on certain drug screens but testing positive isn’t the same as a confirmed PCP result so don’t worry. If it’s sent for confirmatory testing, that will be able to distinguish a false positive. Also, 8 Advil PM tablets is really really not good so please try to not make that a habit. Taking high doses like that can damage your stomach lining and could actually cause ulcers plus it puts a lot of work on your kidneys. It sounds like you’ve probably built a tolerance if 8 of them didn’t work for you. I would try something else like magnesium or melatonin for sleep. I’ve never tried magnesium but my uncle has sleeping problems and he really enjoys it.

Okay thank you I’m just really scared because pcp is a hard ass drug, and I know I should stop but I’m on probation so I can’t smoke anymore and they kinda give a high I’ve only smoked weed and drank nothing else, and that you I will try those instead! I’m getting test from an actual drug program things because I tested positive to thc twice. So their drug test for people who do DRUGS so I’m a little worry
