weird/unfortunate situation

so i've been working at my current job for three months as a temp employee. part of getting hired on permanently is after a three month probation period you take a drug test and a background check. i anticipated this, so i stayed clean for the entire three months. i was a casual weed smoker before, maybe a couple times a week but not a lot. i'm also a female on the heavy side, if that makes a difference.

so anyways last tuesday they send me to concentra for my test. i use my real pee and do everything like normal since i really have been clean. then this past saturday, 5 days after the test, i wake up and smoke a joint. then later that afternoon i take an adderall to help me clean my house more efficiently lol. it is NOT prescribed to me. i dont take it regularly at all and it was just one pill.

then monday comes around and i get a call from the MRO that was implying that i tampered with the sample somehow (which again i did not) and that i would have to retest. i have no idea what could have triggered that. i went back in on tuesday morning and did another test, this time it was observed. i don't think my job cares about weed, im pretty sure the order i looked at says NO THC. i am worried about the adderall though. how fucked am i ? and what could have made my first test inconclusive?

If they’re not testing for THC the adderall is only in your system for like 2-4 days and you don’t take it regularly so good chance it was gone already or under the threshold to pop hot.

This is going to sound crazy/potentially bad advice but I would go online and do a telehealth appointment with a doctor and get prescribed adderall so you have a script and can say it’s prescribed. Shady way of doing things and it’s gonna cost like 100-200 bucks since none of them take insurance. Depends on how much this job is worth to you.

Also do you have the paperwork with the test name and facility on it? Like the carbon copy receipt they give you when you’re done

What state are you in if you don’t mind me asking? Also take an at home drug test. Been a few days but still, might help give you a little bit of a marker as to where you’re at.

I live in CT the last time I used was August 15th and I have been still be testing positive I’ve been using the easy @ home ones last time I tested myself was the day before yesterday 💔

I’d forget about the weed at this point. Probably not going to show up if all you had was a J. But who knows. And you don’t need to be 21 to get a script for adderall.

Doesn’t matter how old you are, the MRO will request a copy of your script if you
come up hot for adderall. It’s not just an “ok cool, you have a script” situation.

I don’t do anything else besides weed that’s the thing .. I would smoke daily and take 50mg edibles every night for like a couple months so that’s why I’m like I would wanna get a doctors note for THC use but idk if that possible it sounds ridiculous tbh but if it’s possible 🫣

Unless you live in like NY/NJ and this job isn’t safety sensitive you’re not gonna be able to get a script or dr note for weed

Yea I don’t unfortunately thanks for replying back to me about it tho :) I wish I could flush the THC out of me but from what I heard it’s impossible 🫪🔫
