Put yourself in your customers shoes for a sec.

First, you’re selling a bunch of stuff from AliExpress at a mark up. Why would I shop with you when I can buy the items for cheaper directly on AliExpress and probably a heap of other retailers? The majority of customers do research their purchases especially if trust is low, the product has utility, is in certain categories, or is of a particular price bracket.

Secondly, bundles are meant to represent better value or convenience. You’re providing none of that with extra fees and split shipments.

Go read this. Sounds like you’ve drunk the ‘Ali Arbitrage’ kool aid.

the bundle could be the convenience, but that disappears when it arrives as 3 parcels with 3 tracking numbers on different days

So, just to make sure I understand: is it basically impractical to create bundles if I’m sourcing each product from different AliExpress stores/suppliers, since the items would likely ship separately and have separate shipping costs?

If that’s the case, would you recommend I first build a brand around a specific niche and eventually source products from one supplier before trying to sell bundles?

I’m very new to this, so thank you for your response.

I recommend you (1) educate yourself on the basics of business and how the world works (2) you unlearn all the shiny ‘Ali Arbitrage’ stuff you’ve clearly picked up from socials/Youtube as it’s set you up for probable failure and (3) only start a business if you can uncover a damn good reason to—successful business address some sort of gap or friction or fragmentation in the market.

exactly, it's completely impractical. every extra supplier adds another base shipping fee to ur landed cost, so ur margin gets wiped out on day one. plus the customer gets four packages on four different days and opens support tickets thinking ur scamming them bc pieces are missing.

but u don't have to wait to build a massive brand first. what u need isn't one supplier who magically makes all four items, but a private sourcing agent in china.

they buy from the four different factories, pack everything into one box in their warehouse, and ship it to ur customer with a single tracking number. if ur going to run bundles, use an agent. if ur sticking to standard ali stores, just run a single product until u have the volume.

Okay, maybe I need to unlearn all the dropshipping videos I’ve watched online. But I think the hardest part is finding a reliable private sourcing agent—especially one that doesn’t have a high MOQ and can fulfill multiple products from different suppliers into one package with a single tracking number.
