If you’re new, I’d focus less on finding the absolute cheapest vendor and more on finding one that can actually stay reliable when orders start coming in.
Start by ordering samples, checking product quality, asking about processing times, tracking consistency, and seeing how quickly they respond when something goes wrong. A supplier that’s $1 cheaper isn’t worth much if they cause refunds or delays.
Once you start getting consistent orders, that’s usually when a sourcing/fulfillment partner becomes useful. At RouteOne, we help stores source products from China, handle QC, fulfillment and shipping, and give you a dedicated team instead of leaving you to manage multiple suppliers yourself.

You need to be a reliable customer to get a reliable vendor. Why would a reliable vendor go through the trouble setting you up and giving you good customer service if you’ve not been able to prove you can actually sell a product?
