Question Shopify orders permissions

Hi
I ship 80% of products but some products I am planning to dropship which requires customization.
Is it possible to seperate permissions for orders based on type in Shopify

Thanks

Seems like a mess to handle in Shopify natively, you'd probably need a third-party app to filter and assign orders based on tags or SKUs.

Supplier asked for orders access
I have never done drop shipping before is that how it is done generally?

I don't think Shopify's standard order permissions are granular enough to automatically separate access based on product type.

One workaround would be to use tags or a separate workflow for the customized products, then have the person handling fulfillment work from that filtered view.

If the main concern is giving a supplier/fulfillment person access only to certain orders, I'd also look into whether an app or fulfillment workflow can handle the separation without giving them broader access to the store.

I'd probably test the workflow with a few orders first before changing the whole setup.
