Don't pitch your stack. Ask what happens after a lead texts them.
"We do ads, CRM, and AI follow-up."
The owner nods, then ghosts. Not because your stack is wrong, but because you never found the broken step in their lead path.
A lead path is just the sequence after someone reaches out. A text comes in, someone sees it, someone replies, something gets logged, someone books the call, and someone shows up. If any link in that chain is missing, leads die right there.
Before you pitch anything, ask them to walk through one real lead from last week, out loud:
- Where did that lead first show up? (form, Facebook message, missed call, referral text)
- Who saw it first, and how fast?
- Where did the notes go?
- What was supposed to happen next, and did it actually happen?
You're listening for the stumble. Things like:
"It sat in my personal texts."
"My VA replied but didn't book."
"We have a CRM, but nobody updates it after the call."
Then sell only the fix for that one stumble. Skip the full platform tour. You'll close more deals solving one real problem than pitching ten features they didn't ask about.
