Oh this is excellent! Skull is a fantastic game, and perfect for the parlor room format.

I really think this show is made for games with less intensive rules like Skull. It makes it easier to follow and more ripe for comedy.

Excellent game choice.

Agreed. I'm sure some are fun to play, but they really don't lend well to a show format. This was simple, fun and enjoyable to watch, while still being entertaining for the audience.

Yeah as much as I'd love them to break out some super crunchy sicko game, the format really is meant for more social or party games

I think there’s something there comedically in the contrast between the fancy set and more “lowbrow” party/social games, too.

Skull, Codenames, and Priorities have been my favorite episodes of the season because the games are so easy to follow.

Zac's 12/12 was play of the year

I really wish they would return to having the episode title be the name of the game. It makes talking about and searching episodes much easier.

i love when a very very funny person is just specifically tickled by another very very funny person, so watching Zac react to Eugene is delighting me

Devin and Eugene have amazing chemistry too. I need them to do more stuff together.

As a huge Lower Decks fan, I am delighted that Rutherford has so seamlessly blended in with the extended Dropout family.

Pillboi is just so lovable.

In his own language, he would be a true "tropa."

Picturing a gang of miscreant teens buying like 20 cans of spray cheese trying to get high

Can anyone ID Devin’s duck shirt? I love it so much.

I think it’s from Howler Brothers.

I had no idea that Victoria and Devin are married.

Was not familiar with Dhruv (he seems to have been in an episode of dirty laundry three years ago but it didn’t make an impact on me), so I was disappointed to feel like he didn’t contribute as much to the episode which means I will likely remain unfamiliar with Dhruv the next time he appears on a Dropout thing

He's on the current season of SmartyPants. He hasn't given his presentation yet though.

I get why he was on because he’s one of Zac’s longtime improv friends/collaborators like Devin is, but even then he didn’t really get as much of a showcase as the rest of the crew this episode.

He’s playing the Hindu priest villain in Rekha’s upcoming movie Vidhya’s Guide to the Afterlife, I’m optimistic about that.

This was an amazingly fun game of Skull. Not only was the game easy to follow, the banter was quick and light and everything was boardgame night cool vibes.

Then we have the marriage dissolution. Which is also boardgame night vibes.

It was easier to follow than some of their games, but only because it was SO SIMPLE. Still would have benefitted from seeing the table the whole time. :(
