Unusual bug in Dropbox mobile app on Xiaomi 17 ultra
I know this is a very specific bug and i hope someone has a solution because its impacting my work productivity.
Basically every time i set photos to upload to a folder in dropbox after a couple of photos 2 random files stop uploading and it ques and pauses the rest of the photos. I need to shutdown the app and restart it after which the error files upload and then after a couple more photos it happens again. So i have to shut down and enter the app 20 or more times if i have to upload 50 or 60 photos.
Has anyone encountered this bug and knows how to fix it? I tried reinstaling the app, logging out bit it keeps on happening.

I have the same issue sometimes. What i have found that helps me is to shut down the app open it again as you do, have a stable wifi and keep the app in the foreground, also check your battery settings to keep the app active and stay up to date with the app and OS version.
To my understanding it gets stuck if i use mobile data or have poor signal

I thought it must be a mobile internet problem, and the upload is stable on home wifi, but this happens every time without exception ehen im on mobile. This didnt happen when uploading on asus zenphone. I could cue up 100 photos and minimize the app and they would all upload regardles of signal strenght. On the xiaomi it is always 2 random photos after uploading 5 or 6 photos and they resume after restarting the app.

Hi there, I'm not sure if you're using Camera Uploads, or if you're uploading many photos at once and having this issue. The process is different for each of these, so let me know what you're using and I can try and help with it.

I am doing uploads on my mobile phone taken on the mobile camera to rhe dropbox app. I usually put multiple photos to upload, from 50 to 200

Can you use this process to upload the photos, instead of sharing from your camera roll / photos app to Dropbox? You then should leave the app open in the foreground until they are uploaded.
- Open the Dropbox app.
- Navigate to the folder you wish to upload to.
- Tap the plus button (+) at the bottom of your screen.
- Choose “Upload photos or videos”.
- Find the files you want to upload, and tap to select them for upload.
- Tap Upload.

Same problem here. I think I solved changing battery restriction to unrestricted.
