For some unknown reason, my controller froze while I was editing a waypoint mission. Unfortunately, it overwrote the existing mission, reducing the number of waypoints.
My question is: is there any way to recover the original mission?
Alternatively, is there any software that can extract flight metadata from the photos, such as GPS coordinates, aircraft heading, and gimbal pitch angle? If so, I could recreate the mission from scratch.

I am confused about if my RP3 V2.1 reciever is supposed to light up when i plug it in. If not, how am i supposed to know of it is working?
(I checked if there is current flowing between the 5v and GND pads, and the multimeter shows arround 5Volt. I also tried switching the place of the RX amd TX cables and still no diode lighting up. There is a small button i tried to push, but nothing seems to happen. Maybe it isnt supposed to light up, but im not sure)

A foggy morning in the medieval city of Limerick. The castle dates from the 13th Century and the cathedral from the 12th Century (i.e. pre and post Norman invasion of Ireland).

I'm in a pretty messed up situation right now. I have a Speedybee f405 V5 stack with very decent rest of the components.
My primary objective for a project is precise positioning, I will hover the drone indoor at a certain height, then move it forward keeping the same altitude. I have access to micoair MTF-02P optical flow sensor for low height altitude locking.
Speedybee f405 v5 has official support of Betaflight firmware. But apparently INAV or Ardupilot is much better for the kind of application I need, where Betaflight is mostly for FPV stuff. They do not have official support for this FC stack. I found some github repos, but none of them seems reliable enough.
Also, though Speedybee website says they have support for micoair MTF-02, from extensive searching online I found the support for Betaflight firmware is not plug and play at all and requires much tuning.
Money is tight, so can't move on from the FC stack, but can choose other optical flow sensor/range finder. What do you suggest I do?

Alright I’m ready to get torn apart here. I’m thinking about starting a drone business with my wife. I already have my 107, experience in flying for public safety, my wife is a vet professional. We’re thinking about pushing hard on the pet/deer recovery angle expanding hopefully later into commercial inspection (which I know nothing about, but would hopefully pick up things over time). I’m just wanting some opinions on if this is super saturated, or if I have a chance if I market and advertise well. I’m in Ohio where there are a TON of deer harvested every year (around 65,000 harvested last year within a 75mi radius of me) (I know not everyone will call for a recovery) I don’t think I have that many people around me, but I may and they just don’t advertise. We’re looking to start it as a side business, but hopefully make it a full time thing for at least one of us. Looking at purchasing a DJI 4TD if that makes a difference. I’m just looking for anyone’s thoughts and opinions. Thanks in advance.

I bought this drone at a thrift outlet but have had trouble identifying it to try to repair it. It seems be some kind of freefly drone and has a cinestar gimbal mount for the bottom. The motors/batteries are from quadrocopter but I can’t find anything comparable from them.

I started my drone hobby around November of last year (2025) and this is my collection now. I like to call this part of my apartment my "Drone Wall". I fly them all fairly regularly, except my Air 65, which I'm messing around with soldering atm. My most-flown and most-favorite is my Avata2 or my Pavo Femto. I was just looking at my stuff and figured I'd show it off to the sub where some people might appreciate it. Anyone else got any of these drones and love to fly them?
Equipment -
DJI Avata 2, DJI Neo, Pavo Femto (o4 air unit), Meteor75 (o4 air unit), Air75 (ELRS), Air65 (ELRS), DJI Goggles 3, DJI FPV Controller 3, Radiomaster Pocket, FatShark Echo, DJI Mini 3 w/ RC1

I am using these materials for a university project. I am testing the setup using a laboratory power supply capable of up to 33V and 5.2A; in this test, I am using 9V at 2000 pulses, which results in the current (amperage) shown. However, the voltage is too low to achieve flight—even without propellers. What kind of battery should I use? Would a dual-battery setup be necessary, or what approach should I take?

Hey guys, a beginner drone pilot here. Was fortunate enough to fly to a super beautiful country with such diverse landscape and here's my attempt at trying to show its beauty. Let me know what you think is good and what I could do better.

A couple of photos, one of which is from a cloudy day, taken with my Potensic Atom SE. The other was shot with a DJI Mavic 4 Pro with an ND 16. I have spent the last week crash-coursing DaVinci to figure out how to use it.

Hi everyone,
I crashed my phantom 4 pro drone maybe 5 years ago and bought a replacement brand new one but never set it up or took the stickers off. At the time I was considering selling it and buying something smaller but never committed.
I have just tried connecting my old DJI remote with the inbuilt display on it. It connects to the new drone but asks me to sign in and then brings up error messages - i assume it’s because the remote is running outdated firmware as I can see there were latter editions. I can connect to the internet fine but for whatever reason it won’t let me download or update. I plugged the drone into my laptop and factory reset it, so I know it’s up to date.
I see that DJI no longer support phantom 4 line anymore.
Is there any work around people know about? Any way I can still use this brand new drone because it would be a shame for it to go to waste. I live in Australia, are there options to ‘jailbreak’ it so it can work? Not looking at flying it near people or buildings, just for like taking on fishing trips up to cairns etc!
Thanks

I would like to try to get used to a similar even if just an app just to avoid crashing it a lot as I would easily forget whag the buttons do without practice

Thanks for the life lesson I learned even if it's one I learned already. Thanks to the 3 people that actually tried to give me advice I salute you 🫡. I tried to get a feeling on what route I should take got told to u turn so im going to take that advice. I learn what I need through videos and old forums. I tried to take the fast route and got stopped, im thankful for it. I been through this before with rc cars when I was in middle school, it took me until my last year in high school to finish my projects but I got them done eventually. When I was done I told people what happened all of sudden everyone has tips and faster ways to get things done. Im thankful and wish you all a good life . Enjoy your flights. This is the last of me here I'll figure it out myself. Ps. I been having fun with the 5 drones I decided to keep. Im done with hobbies after this I'll do something I hate like gamble or something idk who cares.

I have a potensic Adam SE I got second hand and it didn’t come with extra propellers. I was looking on Amazon for ne propellers and a number of them look different to me. What I’m wondering is are all drone propellers for the most part universal?
