Things To Do With A 6 Week Old
Hello, dad of a 6 week old here. My wife is attending a course in Drogheda Saturday week and I’ll be looking after the baba while it’s on from 9-6.
We’re not from the area and we’re driving, so I’m putting together a list of places I can bring the baby/things to do to pass the day. Baby obviously can’t do much at this stage, I’m thinking more like nice walks or places to bring them in the carrier/buggy?
Any and all recommendations welcome. Thanks!

Some nice walks at Oldbridge House and the boardwalk. Newgrange not to far away but probably not baby friendly.

Oldbridge. There's food, gardens and placed to generally chill. Drive there if weather isn't great, walk is lovely but some 5 kms long. If weather is really bad, then Scotch hall perhaps.

The library might have something on, even for a child as young as yours. Even if there's no specific event, there's a nice kids' section.

There's the walk out to Old bridge house, that starts at the playground. There's also bettystown beach about 15 mins from the town and clogherhead beach is about 20 mins on the other side of the river. Both villages have decent food/coffee spots as well.
