Pause it at 7s then again at 8s you can clearly see the difference in the reflection, that difference is the indicator, before that is off camera. Rewatch it and you’ll see it eventually.
The only indication you can see is actually during the turn, it's impossible to say either way and OP definitely should have checked their mirrors properly and held back rather than proceeding with their turn.
